I wonder if a new Windows Update may be causing the problem. In fact, I just realized that when I plug the USB cable into my phone, I get the error message (Connection to phone could not be established: No device attached to USB) even before I have a chance to select "Charge Only" or "Charge and Data". However, since that stopped working, I tried selecting Charge Only, and that does not work, either. The settings that worked for my phone, contrary to your instructions, were to select Charge & Data and then Transfer Files. I was able to connect via USB until a week ago. Sometimes I would like to be able to connect MPE to my BlackBerry KEYone with a cable so I can type into my phone from the computer keyboard.
